We start with what the site has to do: get phone calls, take bookings, sell products or answer the questions your sales team answers every day. We plan the pages around that, write or tidy the copy, design it, build it and put it live.

We choose the platform once we know who will update the site. WordPress suits a team that posts every week, Shopify suits a product catalogue, and Next.js suits a site that has to be very fast or do something unusual. Whichever we pick, we tell you why.

Website development: what it involves and what sets the price.

Building a website is more than the design. Someone has to plan the pages, write the words, build it so it loads quickly on a phone, connect the forms and payments, and set it up so Google can read it. When those jobs are split between three vendors, things fall through the gaps. We do all of them.

Every site is priced on what it has to do. What moves the price is the number of pages, how much of the writing we do, and features such as online payments, a booking calendar, a CRM connection or a second language. After a short call you get the full figure in writing, before you commit to anything.

Speed matters more than most people expect. A page that takes five seconds to appear on mobile data loses visitors before they read a word, and Google takes it into account. We compress images, keep scripts to a minimum and check every page on a phone before launch.
